Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
Alpha Psi Lambda has grown and evolved through the help of volunteers and the Fraternity's ongoing success depends on volunteer contributions.
There are different opportunities available depending on the time you have to commit, your skills and what you are interested in. If you are interested in volunteering please use this application to apply for all positions: National Office Application (google form).

The NEB is the overall administrative body for the Fraternity and has a variety of responsibilities including: support and grow collegiate Chapters; promote Alumni Associations and networking, enforce Fraternity policy and procedure.
The NEB is comprised of 9 alumni that serve two year terms, pay annual dues of $150 and hold a degree. Nominations and candidate packet information is due in March. These positions are elected at the National House of Delegates in June or appointed by the NEB in cases of vacancy.

Nominations, including self-nominations, must be submitted by national dues paying members.
All candidates are required to submit a volunteer application or have one on file from the last two years and a resume.

The National Committee positions focus on a variety of areas to support Fraternity Operations such as Civic Engagement, Inclusion, Historian and others. These positions report to the Executive Vice President.
Appointments
If you are interested in applying for a position, please submit an email stating which positions you are interested in to nationaloffice@alphapsilambda.net and complete the online volunteer application. Note: If you have an application on file from the last two years, a new application is not needed.

Regional Boards are comprised of Regional Directors, Chapter Directors and other positions the National Executive Board deems necessary to support collegiate chapters.
Appointments

The Executive Vice President is responsible for appointing these positions for collegiate chapters. Active chapters will have the opportunity to approve their Chapter Director appointments.

The Executive Alumni Board serves as leadership for the National Alumni Association (NAA).
Term for Director of Operations is two years, elected on odd calendar years.
Terms for Director of Membership and Director of Programs are one year, from July 1st to June 30th.
Positions are voted on by the National Alumni Association members. If you are interested in applying, complete an online volunteer application. Questions regarding the positions may be sent to the Vice President of Alumni Affairs at alumniaffairs@alphapsilambda.net.

Assistant positions - These are appointed by the officer that they work for and do not pay dues. These include assistants for:

Expansion Committees
Expansion Committees are solicited for each individual University/College that is available for expansion or reorganization. All alumni and at large members in good standing may apply. To be considered eligible you must complete the survey monkey sent out by the Vice President of Expansion and submit an online National Office Application, or have one on file from the last two years. Individuals we be considered based on: availability, budget, past Fraternity experience, past expansion committee involvement, and any current sanctions.
Short Term Projects
The National Office has a long to-do list! There are always a variety of projects available that require help. If you have time and are interested in assisting with a short term project, please contact us at nationaloffice@alphapsilambda.net.
Standards Board
The purpose of the Standards Board is to ensure membership adherence and compliance to the Fraternity’s Policy and Procedure Manual. The Standards Board will inquire, collect and compile all necessary information that is crucial for the inquiry or investigation and then based on the information make an educated and informed recommendation of a verdict and sanction, if applicable, to the NEB.
Each Standards Board member shall receive a term of two years. Higher Ed, Law, Criminal Justice backgrounds desired. These positions do not pay dues.
