October 18, 2011 - Alpha Psi Lambda Mourns the Loss of Brother

Cipriano "El Relampago" Duran Jr. 

Alpha Psi Lambda Brother Cipriano Duran Jr. passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the age of 36 after recently being diagnosed with cancer. Cipriano crossed on February 13, 1999 with Los Resusitados at Epsilon Chapter at Purdue University - Calumet, in Hammond, Indiana. He leaves behind his wife, two children and many family and friends. 

The family has set up a memorial fund with Wells Fargo Bank for his children in the name of Donations for Cip Duran. The Epsilon Alumni Association (EAA) is currently taking donations to be given to the family.  If anyone wishes to send donations they can do so by sending funds via PayPal to Apsi_epsilonalumni@yahoo.com . The EAA will then send the donations to Wells Fargo Bank.

The brothers and sisters of Alpha Psi Lambda send their thoughts and prayers to Cipriano's family and friends during this difficult time.  Cipriano now joins other members of Alpha Psi Lambda who have passed in Omega Chapter.  May he be at peace.
